I, Mavis Kuukua Bissue Boateng, your parliamentary candidate for Ahanta West Constituency, proudly present my comprehensive manifesto aimed at making Ahanta West better. With a deep understanding of our constituency’s needs and aspirations, I have crafted a strategic plan that addresses critical issues such as infrastructure development, economic empowerment, Sports and improved healthcare, education services, youth employment and many more. My vision is to create a thriving constituency where every resident has the opportunity to prosper and lead a fulfilling life.

This manifesto outlines a robust framework for advancing Ahanta West through targeted initiatives and sustainable development projects. I am committed to enhancing our constituency’s infrastructure, ensuring that roads, schools, and healthcare facilities are modernized and accessible. By fostering economic growth through job creation and support for local businesses, I aim to reduce unemployment and boost our local economy. My focus on education and healthcare promises to equip our youth with the skills needed for the future and to ensure that all residents receive quality medical care.

My manifesto is more than just a plan; it is a promise of dedicated service and transformative leadership. I believe in the potential of Ahanta West and am determined to work tirelessly to bring about positive change.   • Grade all roads that need immediate attention.
  • Lobby for the construction of our deplorable roads.
  • Improve the Agona Nkwanta market.
  • Lobby for mini markets in some communities that need them.
  • Lobby for modern mini clinics and nurseries for our market women in Agona Nkwanta.
  • Set up interest-free loans for market women and other traders.
  • Establish a Mobile Van Clinic in the constituency.
  •  Upgrade the face of Dixcove Hospital and Agona Polyclinic.
  •  Lobby for the completion of the regional hospital at Apemayim.
  •  Build a children’s hospital as my priority legacy.
  •  Establish a health fund to support the less privileged in accessing good healthcare
  •  Lobby for KG and lower primary schools in communities without one.
  •  Complete unfinished educational structures.
  •  Build a municipal education directorate.
  • Organize teachers’ town hall meetings to improve education in our constituency.
  •  Support teachers in deprived areas in our constituency.
  •  Organize vacation classes for less privileged students.
  •  Award scholarships to deserving individuals, including those with disabilities.
  •  Create a Member of Parliament (MP) scholarship award scheme.
  •  Champion girl child education to prevent teenage pregnancy and school dropout.
  • Build a skill training center to train young people in apprenticeship skills.
  •  Lobby for the completion of the abandoning youth center
  •  Secure job opportunities through private sector negotiation in the constituency and beyond.
  •  Negotiate with our chiefs to secure jobs during land allocation agreements with companies and
    the government.
  •  Secure protocols for deserving individuals, including those with disabilities.
  •  Prioritize sports activities for job creation.
  •  Lobby for government recruitment.
  •  Provide training to equip our farmers for modern farming.
  • Support farmers with seedlings and other necessities.
  •  Lobby for farming equipment to support farmers.
    Form a properly structured premix committee.
  •  Encourage youth farming with starter packages.
  •  Lobby for more premix fuel for our fishermen.
  •  Create an MP award scheme for farmers in addition to the Farmers’ Day award.
  •  Lobby investors to build a modern cold store and ice block company around the coastal areas to
    support fishermen.
  •  Support fishmongers through the MP loan scheme.
  •  Develop tourist sites in the constituency.
  •  Promote tourism.
  •  Prioritize tourism activities.
  •  Discover and develop tourist sites like Akiwda Waterfalls, Princess and Enuahu Lake, and
    Agyambra and Aketechie Crocodile Lakes into modern tourism sites.
  •  Champion the Ahanta language in our schools.
  •  Set up an Ahanta language committee to write books in the Ahanta language, including the Bible
    and other texts.
  •  Create adult education programs for learning the Ahanta language.
  •  Encourage prioritizing the Ahanta language in our institutions and beyond.
  •  Support assemblymen and unit committees for quarterly communal labor.
  •  Distribute dustbins to vantage points.
  •  Lobby for a drainage system to prevent flooding in some communities.
  •  Lobby for boreholes for potable drinking water.
  •  Support Zoom lion for weekly offloading of rubbish.
  •  Negotiate with our chiefs for the allocation of a rubbish dump site
  •  Reintroduce neighborhood watch in cooperation with the Ghana Police.
  •  Organize training for the neighborhood watch.
  •  Organize town hall meetings on security and safety.
  •  Negotiate with the Ghana Police for community vigilance.
  •  Support the Police Service and Fire Service for rapid responses to community calls.
  •  Lobby for electricity extension to all communities in the constituency.
  •  Provide streetlight bulbs within the constituency.
  •  Replace all spoiled streetlight bulbs.
  •  Lobby for solar power for communities that need immediate attention.
  •  Champion highly inter-zonal sports activities in our schools.
  •  Prioritize the Ahanta Sportyfest festival.
  •  Create a sports committee to promote sports in the constituency.
  •  Lobby for AstroTurf and sports complexes for sports activities.
  •  Support club and community teams in the constituency.
  •  Lobby investors to establish a standard Ghana Premier League team and support sports
    activities in the constituency.
  •  Support the various unions in the constituency.
  •  Procure some Pragia for the Pragia union.
  •  Procure some Aboboya for the Aboboya union.
  •  Lobby investors to procure vehicles for the drivers’ union.
  •  Support union drivers in obtaining drivers’ licenses.
  •  Lobby for upgrading existing stations and creating new ones in areas without stations
  • Collaborate with telecom companies to expand network coverage
  • Advocate for the installation of fiber optic networks
  • Lobby telecommunications companies to upgrade existing infrastructure
  • Push for the establishment of an ICT center within the constituency
  • Support schools with ICT programs
